A relaxed celebration on the water
Georgie’s Canal Cruises offers private, catered cruises for wedding receptions, vow renewals, anniversaries and other milestone celebrations. We do not hold a licence for legal wedding ceremonies, but we can help you create a memorable reception or informal renewal surrounded by family and friends.
Every celebration is planned around your group. Tell us your preferred date, guest numbers and ideas, and we will discuss suitable boats, timings, catering and availability.
Our boats
Georgie Kate
Georgie Kate can seat up to 26 guests alongside the celebrating couple. The boat includes an onboard licensed bar offering bottled beers, ciders, wines, cocktails and soft drinks, plus onboard toilet and handwashing facilities.
Judith Mary 2
Judith Mary 2 can host larger celebrations of up to 38 guests. It also offers a licensed bar with beers, wines, cocktails and soft drinks.
Food and cruise options
Depending on your plans and availability, catering options may include afternoon tea, fish and chips, or a roast dinner cruise. Prices and packages vary according to guest numbers, date, cruise length and menu choices, so we will provide a tailored quotation after receiving your enquiry.
Continue your celebrations
For an additional charge, it may be possible to arrange a longer hire or finish near a local onward venue, including The Moat House at Acton Trussell or The Haling Dene in Penkridge. Please mention any onward plans in your enquiry so we can discuss what is practical.
