HISTORY
‘Georgie Kate’ was originally built in 1984, then named the Judith Mary, cruising the Peak district from Whaley bridge. Her sister, The Judith Mary II was built in 1988 and has continued to run out of Whaley Bridge to this day. Our Judith Mary went on to Chester in 1993 and then she went on to become the Staley Rose running cruises out of Stone and offering football runs up to Stoke.
We fell across her sale in the Autumn of 2016 where we fell in love with her tired soul. By January 2017 a full renovation was under way and we couldn’t wait to relocate her to her new home in Teddesley for the spring.
We decided to name the Staley Rose after our Daughter ‘Georgie Kate’ and by May 2017 a new chapter was upon us and our endless adventure had began.
